Step back in time and wear a piece of the Frontier...
This handcrafted early Navajo sterling silver cuff features a beautiful natural turquoise cabochon framed by bold geometric stampwork. With its substantial sterling silver construction, rich natural patina, and classic Southwestern design, it captures the timeless character of vintage Native American jewelry.
The bracelet remains wonderfully wearable today and displays the honest signs of age that collectors appreciate. A professionally executed vintage repair, shown clearly in the photographs, is secure and reflects the long life of a piece that was valued enough to preserve rather than discard.

Condition:
This cuff has had a vintage repair, shown in the photographs. The repair is solid and secure, and repairs of this nature are not uncommon on early Native American jewelry that was worn and cherished over many decades.
To preserve the repair, I do not recommend adjusting the bracelet by bending it at the repaired area. If resizing is desired, a professional jeweler should make any adjustment using a bracelet mandrel.
ABOUT THE WHIRLING LOG SYMBOL
Because many Native American artisans voluntarily stopped using this symbol during and after World War II, jewelry featuring the Whirling Log motif is generally associated with pieces made before the 1940s. While each piece should be evaluated individually, the presence of this symbol is often considered an indicator of earlier production.
FINDING THE RIGHT FIT
Vintage cuff bracelets should fit comfortably without requiring significant adjustment. For the best fit, measure a cuff bracelet you already own and compare its dimensions to those listed above.
If you don't have a cuff bracelet for comparison, simply measure your wrist where you intend to wear the bracelet.
Option 1
Use a flexible cloth measuring tape and wrap it around your wrist.
Option 2
Wrap a piece of string or ribbon around your wrist, mark where the ends meet, then lay it flat against a ruler to determine your wrist measurement.
Use this measurement to compare with the Total Circumference listed above.
General Sizing Guide:
Baby/Child: Fits up to a 4¼" wrist
Youth/Teen: Fits 4⅜"–5¼" wrist
Small: Fits 5⅜"–6¼" wrist
Medium: Fits 6⅜"–7¼" wrist
Large: Fits 7⅜"–8" wrist
Extra Large: Fits over 8" wrist
Please Note:
Vintage jewelry has lived a previous life and will often display signs of age, including light wear, natural patina, minor surface scratches, or slight irregularities. Enlarged photographs may exaggerate these characteristics. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description.
